How much does the 2022 Mazda CX-3 cost?

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

The 2022 Mazda CX-3 stands out as a small crossover that helped define Mazda’s earlier approach to the subcompact SUV segment. For you, that means a compact alternative with a sporty feel and a premium-leaning cabin in a smaller footprint.

Its appeal is strongest if you want a used Mazda crossover that prioritises size and Mazda’s driving character over outright roominess or power. The trade-off is that it is the smaller, simpler option, and its appeal depends on whether you can live with those limits.

36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent share of market opportunities to consider.

Is the 2022 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

The 2022 Mazda CX-3 was described as a sensible choice for buyers who wanted a used Mazda crossover with a tidy footprint and a reputation for reliability. That makes it a reasonable fit if you value a straightforward small SUV with familiar strengths.

It is best suited to you if you want a compact used crossover and can accept its size-related compromises. For long-term ownership, the main risk is whether the limited rear-seat and cargo space will still suit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mazda CX-3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 58 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,868 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $23,084 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,451 CAD.

For a future seller, that suggests the market has softened, so you may not see the same return you would have a year ago. If you buy well now, you can help protect your resale position later by staying close to the lower end of the current range. The strongest resale outcome will likely come from a clean, well-priced example that stands out in a relatively small inventory pool.

Should I buy a 2022 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.59% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the final-year CX-3 and value its compact size and Mazda character, the 2022 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and deal quality.
