The current average of $27,772 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,471 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to the higher end of the recent range. The Ridgeline’s practical features and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want the Ridgeline’s comfort-first approach, useful storage, and well-liked ownership experience. If you are price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s current market position.
