This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,081 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,358 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $28,359 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,578 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the truck in strong condition, because a lower entry price can help protect your position later. Demand should remain supported by the model’s broad appeal and active used-market presence.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $25,039 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $28,359 CAD average.
• It is a more well-rounded truck for everyday use.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,715 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,359 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern, comfortable cabin.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best primary choice if you want a well-liked F-150 with a softer market price and plenty of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value path; if you want a newer-feeling cabin and can stretch your budget, the 2020 is worth a look.
