This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Inventory: There are 994 listings available.

What is the 2019 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $28,585 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,301 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably today but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For future sellers, the softer pricing means condition, mileage, and equipment will matter even more when it comes time to list. Well-kept examples should still attract attention because the model remains popular with used-truck shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $25,035 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $28,585 CAD average.
• It is a well-rounded, capable all-rounder with strong towing and fuel economy.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,673 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,585 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern, comfort-focused cabin with strong everyday versatility.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of owner satisfaction, deal potential, and current-market value. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better price-sensitive choice; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling cabin and added comfort, the 2020 is worth a look.
