How much does the 2019 Dodge Challenger cost?

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its power, stylish design, and comfortable ride, and many like the old-school muscle car feel paired with modern features. It also fits well if you want a five-passenger coupe with everyday usability and a user-friendly infotainment setup. With 22.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on the car’s strong performance and comfortable day-to-day use. That said, used examples can vary widely, so you should pay close attention to how the car was maintained and whether it was treated carefully over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a neglected example rather than a fundamentally weak model.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 22.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 81 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.63% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,652 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $45,137 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,865 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face more price sensitivity if the trend continues. If you buy at the current average, your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car was cared for. Strong examples should still attract attention because the Challenger has a distinctive personality and broad enthusiast appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 22.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $38,550 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $45,137 CAD average.
• It adds new colours, extra interior choices, and a 50th Anniversary package on some trims.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the stronger current owner-satisfaction signal and are shopping the broader used market with some deal potential. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2020 is worth a look because it undercuts the current average while adding a few cosmetic and special-package updates.
