Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2019 if:

• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the first year of the fourth-generation Silverado 1500, especially if you value its broader configuration choices and updated capability. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019 remains a strong pick when you find a well-priced example.
