How much does the 2019 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have softened 11.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 147 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2019 BMW 3 Series blends performance with everyday usability, and its sixth-generation lineup offered a wide range of body styles and powertrains, plus rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and manual or automatic transmissions. It can be a compelling choice if you want a versatile luxury car, though the cabin can feel tight and the infotainment may feel dated today. With 30.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 BMW 3 Series is described as better than the generation before it, but the earliest examples from this run still have a mixed reputation, so condition and maintenance history matter a great deal. Because ownership costs can be significant, you should pay close attention to service records and overall upkeep before buying.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW 3 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 147 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,627 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW 3 Series' resale value?

The current average of $24,731 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,864 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more attractive level, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a seller, the current trend suggests you may need to price competitively to move the car. Strong condition and documented maintenance will matter more when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $33,858 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,731 CAD average.
• It adds a stronger all-round driving experience with a more polished premium-sedan feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2019 is the smarter starting point because pricing has softened and deal availability is decent. If you can stretch for a newer example and want the more refined overall package, the 2020 is worth a look; otherwise, the 2019 remains the price-sensitive pick.
