The overall impression is that it delivers the kind of trouble-free, long-term ownership experience many used-minivan shoppers want, especially when space and practicality matter most. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,578 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $29,078 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,463 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar right away. Even so, the Sienna’s practical layout and family-focused appeal help support steady demand. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should still have a reasonable path to resale later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is the better pick if you want the refreshed look, added USB charging, and standard Toyota Safety Sense in a practical family minivan. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 remains the stronger all-around choice when you want a well-liked, versatile Sienna with good market availability.
