You’re looking at a practical family minivan that prioritises space and versatility, with three rows of seating and a cabin that can be transformed into a huge cargo area when you need it. The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find reliable, dependable, and trouble-free over the long term. For used buyers, the long-term risk is manageable if you inspect those areas carefully and choose a well-maintained example.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.49% compared with last year.

What is the 2018 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $27,395 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,666 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Sienna easier to buy now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited. If you’re planning to sell later, the current softness means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because shoppers continue to value the Sienna’s practicality and family-friendly layout.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a practical, family-focused minivan with good owner satisfaction and a market that currently offers some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 remains the better pick when you want a balanced mix of value, utility, and buyer confidence.
