Used 2018 Subaru WRX for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2018 Subaru WRX cost?

Prices have softened 7.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 130 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Subaru WRX a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Subaru WRX earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its fun driving experience, excellent handling, and accessible power, and the model’s standard all-wheel drive and practical sports-sedan layout make it appealing if you want everyday usability with an enthusiast focus. The trade-off is that it suits you best if driving enjoyment matters more than refinement, especially given the notes about a cheap-feeling interior and dated technology. With 23.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a meaningful share of attractive inventory to consider.

Is the 2018 Subaru WRX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: it delivers consistent performance, strong handling, and the kind of driving experience people can count on day after day. That said, as a used buyer, you should still think about long-term ownership risk in the usual way for a performance-oriented car, especially if the previous owner drove it hard or skipped maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Subaru WRX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 23.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 130 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,806 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Subaru WRX's resale value?

The current average of $19,114 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,617 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you plan to resell later, the current trend implies you should focus on buying well and keeping the car in strong condition so you preserve as much value as possible. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Subaru WRX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 23.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 WRX is the better fit if you want the model’s core appeal at a softer price point and you value a strong mix of performance and everyday usability. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also keep an eye on nearby years, but the 2018 stands out as a sensible primary target when you want a well-liked WRX with meaningful inventory to shop.
