How much does the 2018 Subaru Impreza cost?

Prices have softened 11.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 152 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you're comparing trims, body styles, and condition.

Is the 2018 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Subaru Impreza earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its all-wheel drive capability, sporty feel, and safety features, and many also like how spacious and comfortable it is for daily use and family needs. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a compact car with standard AWD, everyday usability, and confidence in varied weather. With 30.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with confidence-inspiring all-wheel drive and a trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers. That kind of long-term approval matters if you want a used compact car you can count on through changing seasons and regular commuting. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright reliability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and still feels fresh inside.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Subaru Impreza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 152 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.15% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,807 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $15,069 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,960 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the right price, you reduce the chance of taking a bigger hit later. The Impreza's broad appeal as a practical all-wheel-drive compact car should help it stay relevant with used shoppers, especially in regions where winter traction matters.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Impreza with standard all-wheel drive, strong owner approval, and a market that has become more favourable to buyers, the 2018 is a solid year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you can also compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and equipment.
