Is the 2018 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, elegant interior, and high-tech features, and many also like its stylish appearance and upscale feel. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a comfort-first midsize SUV with a more polished cabin and a practical, everyday-friendly layout. Is the 2018 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, with repeated praise for the Murano’s comfort and overall value. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for regular driving. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly, since condition will matter more as the kilometres add up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 262 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,718 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $15,718 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,123 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer resale environment than someone who bought earlier. If you own one for a few years, the current trend implies you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been kept. A well-presented example can still stand out, especially if it has the comfort and equipment shoppers expect from this model.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want a comfort-focused Murano with a refined cabin, strong owner approval, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 is the better pick if you want the sweet spot of value, comfort, and buyer appeal.
