How much does the 2018 Nissan Murano cost?

Is the 2018 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Nissan Murano earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, elegant interior, and high-tech features, and many also like its stylish appearance and upscale feel. That lines up well with its role as a comfort-first midsize SUV for you if you value refinement, a polished cabin, and everyday ease over sporty handling. With 30.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market availability if you want to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people find dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with comfort and value helping reinforce that impression. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the overall satisfaction picture and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 268 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,973 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $15,973 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,325 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Murano more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to protect value later. The model’s comfort-focused appeal and upscale cabin help keep it relevant with shoppers who want a refined used SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used midsize SUV that leans into comfort, style, and a more upscale cabin, the 2018 Murano is the better fit. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 stands out as the stronger choice when you want a well-liked, well-equipped model with meaningful market softness behind it.
