Is the 2018 Nissan Micra a good car?

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback suggests lower perceived ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and condition carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Micra?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with pricing down and a meaningful share of listings offering value.

• Deal availability: 41.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,585 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Micra's resale value?

The current average of $10,975 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,528 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a plus if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays favourable to buyers, resale values may remain under some pressure in the near term. Strong condition and a clean history will matter more when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Micra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 41.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong primary choice if you want a used Micra with favourable pricing and solid owner satisfaction. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative offers similar value, but the 2018 stands out as a sensible place to start.
