Used 2018 Nissan Altima for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2018 Nissan Altima cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 72 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2018 Nissan Altima a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Nissan Altima earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its smooth ride, good fuel economy, and spacious trunk, and many also value the comfort and technology features. In practical terms, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a quiet, comfortable midsize sedan with useful everyday space and features. With 26.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Nissan Altima reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a mix of strengths and caution flags: many reviews describe the car as dependable and trouble-free in daily use, while others mention transmission concerns, battery issues, and maintenance-related problems. That means you should treat a used example as a buy-after-inspection vehicle rather than assuming every car will have the same ownership experience. For used buyers, the long-term risk is manageable if you verify service history and condition before committing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Altima?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,922 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Altima's resale value?

The current average of $13,890 CAD sits slightly above last year's $13,776 CAD.

That small increase suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is generally helpful if you plan to resell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate future value, even if it does not point to rapid appreciation. Because the model has held its pricing fairly consistently, a well-kept example should remain reasonably marketable to future buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Altima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a good fit if you want a comfortable, well-equipped midsize sedan and you value a stable used market with some deal opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
