Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right example.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 111 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,512 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $27,512 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,875 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the GLE more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still hold appeal, especially because the model has a strong reputation for comfort and premium feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer price than last year, the 2018 is a sensible choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it’s also worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2018’s current market position.
