Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mazda CX-5?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $18,938 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mazda CX-5's resale value?

The current average of $18,957 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,811 CAD.

That price movement suggests the CX-5 has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. Because the market has already adjusted downward, you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mazda CX-5 or consider a different year?
