How much does the 2018 Mazda CX-3 cost?

There are 141 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Mazda CX-3 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its great handling, smooth ride, and attractive design, and many also like its compact size and AWD capability. For you, that means it fits best if you want a small crossover with a more premium feel and a fun-to-drive character rather than maximum practicality. With 28.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly highlighting how well the CX-3 delivers on everyday use. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used vehicle you can count on. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about mechanical concern and more about whether the compact cabin and limited cargo space will suit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mazda CX-3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.30% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,622 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $16,176 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,836 CAD.

That price movement suggests the CX-3 has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy now, the lower average price can help reduce your upfront cost, though resale gains are unlikely to come from appreciation. Instead, your best protection is choosing a well-kept example that stands out in a market where shoppers can compare many similar listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 CX-3 makes the most sense if you want a small crossover with strong owner approval, a softer used-market price, and a premium-feeling driving experience. If your priority is value and you like the way this year is priced, it is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also keep shopping nearby years and compare condition, mileage, and listing price to see whether another model year gives you a better deal.
