Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota C-HR?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 88 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.

What is the 2018 Toyota C-HR's resale value?

The current average of $18,364 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,975 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some market softening, which can make future depreciation a little easier to predict. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell. Strong owner satisfaction can also help keep demand steady among used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Toyota C-HR makes sense if you want a used crossover with strong owner approval and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for listings that land below the current average, since those are more likely to offer the best value.
