How much does the 2018 Honda Odyssey cost?

Is the 2018 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and family-friendly features, and many also highlight its reliability and modern design. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy family minivan with a practical, well-equipped layout. With 28.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to reliability and a modern design as recurring strengths, which is encouraging if you want a minivan you can count on for regular family use. Even so, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance records and a thorough test drive, since long-term ownership risk is best managed by checking for signs of electrical, infotainment, or transmission concerns.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 207 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,936 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $24,285 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,967 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Odyssey more attractive to buyers now but may also mean future sellers need to price competitively. If you buy at today’s average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. A well-kept example should still appeal to family buyers because this model year is strongly associated with comfort and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped family minivan and you value current pricing, the 2018 is a sensible place to start. It makes the most sense if you can verify maintenance history and find a clean example at or below the current market average. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs any differences in equipment or condition.
