Used 2018 Honda CR-V for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2018 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 12.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 790 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the value, comfort, and impressive features, along with the spacious interior and good gas mileage. That lines up well with the CR-V’s role as a practical compact crossover for small families, commuters, and anyone who wants everyday usefulness without moving up to a larger SUV. With 31.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable and easy to live with, with praise centred on comfort, value, and the kind of features that make daily use less stressful. That kind of response usually matters most if you want a used SUV you can count on for routine commuting, family duty, and long-term ownership.

For used buyers, the main risk is less about outright appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained properly over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 790 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,281 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $20,281 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,228 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper what a future seller can expect. If you buy at the current average, you are starting from a lower entry point than owners did a year ago, which can reduce the risk of overpaying. The CR-V’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale value will still depend on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $22,115 CAD, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $20,281 CAD average.
• It adds a refined, roomy feel with strong safety, good fuel economy, and lively performance.

The bottom line: The 2018 is the better primary pick if you want the stronger value proposition and more room to negotiate. If you are price-sensitive, it is the smarter year to target; if you are willing to spend more for a newer model-year feel, the 2019 is worth a look.
