Why it stands out
The 2018 GMC Canyon is a midsize pickup truck that offers a compelling blend of comfort, style, and capability. It stands out in the crowded pickup market due to its luxurious trim options, particularly the Denali version, which appeals to buyers looking for a more refined driving experience. The Canyon is praised for its strong running engine and overall good looks, making it a popular choice among drivers. However, some users have raised concerns about transmission issues and the higher price point of the Denali trim. With its compact size, the Canyon is easier to manoeuvre in urban settings compared to larger trucks, making it an excellent option for city dwellers who still need the utility of a pickup.

While not having a lot to compare it to, it appears so far to be a strong running engine (2.8 Duramax) . The seating seams hard in contrast to my last truck (2500 HD ) , both being Denali versions with leather seats . The fuel mileage is outstanding averaging low to mid 30s . The electronics package is full of creature comforts including heated and cooled seats . Overall a nice ride.

The Denali is over priced and I will continue to shop for a 2017-2019 Denali preferably with SLT as a second choice
