Is the 2018 Ford Escape reliable?

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable enough to live with day to day, especially when it comes to performance and overall value. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Inventory: There are 741 listings available.

What is the 2018 Ford Escape's resale value?

The current average of $12,930 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,249 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face more competition when it is time to list. If prices remain near the current level, resale value should stay stable rather than surge. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, especially for examples with good condition and clear maintenance records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Ford Escape or consider a different year?
