How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 4.54/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, decent fuel economy, good power, towing ability, and easy-to-drive size, especially if you want a midsize truck that feels more manageable than a full-size pickup. The Colorado’s everyday usability and utility make it a practical fit if you want a truck that can handle commuting, hauling, and weekend use without feeling oversized. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.54/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that many drivers find dependable in daily use, with a reputation for being trouble-free enough to recommend for its utility and nimbleness. At the same time, some owners mention mechanical issues, so you should still verify service history carefully before buying. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that past transmission concerns can turn a good-looking truck into a costly one if maintenance records are thin.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,043 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $23,987 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,053 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing means your future resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should still attract attention, but you should expect buyers to remain price-conscious.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.54/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.54/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want a midsize pickup with strong owner approval, a softer price trend, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth cross-shopping, but the 2018 is the better starting point when you want a balanced mix of value, usability, and buyer confidence.
