That diesel also gave the Colorado a class-leading 3,500 kilograms of towing capacity and as low as 9.4 litres per 100 kilometres on the highway. The trade-off is that this generation is not without flaws: transmission problems are a recurring concern, and the base four-cylinder and WT trims are the least appealing parts of the range.

2018 Z71, Crew Cab, Very nice truck overall. The V6 has plenty of power. Also, it has plenty of towing capacity. The fit and finish are quite nice, for the price. Apple Car Play is amazing. I was surprised that it didnt have push-button start. It is much more nimble and easy to park than my full size pickup it replaced. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants the utility of a truck, but doesnt need or have room for a full size model.

Research shows the 2015-2018 Chevrolet Colorado has potential transmission issues which concerns me. I still love the truck and it’s stance.
