Is the 2018 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi Q7 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, spacious cabin, and performance, and many also like the advanced technology and family-friendly layout. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a three-row luxury SUV with useful space and a premium driving experience. With 28.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, especially when it comes to comfort, space, and overall ownership experience. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you plan to keep the SUV for several years.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the overall reputation and more about finding a well-maintained example with the right equipment and service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 190 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,514 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $21,625 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,061 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the Q7 easier to purchase now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. If you buy at the right number, you reduce the risk of overpaying in a market that has already adjusted downward. For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and maintenance history will matter even more when it comes time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a smart choice if you want a well-liked three-row luxury SUV and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years as well, but the 2018 stands out as a solid target when you want a balance of owner satisfaction, inventory choice, and softer pricing.
