What is the 2017 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $16,243 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,444 CAD.

That price movement suggests the XC60 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you buy now and plan to sell later. A lower entry price can reduce the amount of value left to lose, especially if you choose a well-kept example with desirable equipment and a clean history. Because the market is still showing steady demand, a good-condition XC60 should remain reasonably saleable when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a strong choice if you want the XC60’s safety-first, upscale personality and you value a lower used price. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years for the best mix of equipment, condition, and asking price before deciding.
