Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearRichmond Hill, ON

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 13.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 143 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the comfortable ride, smooth performance, and appealing features, and the model’s premium cabin and practical five-seat layout make it a good fit if you want a refined compact luxury SUV for everyday use and longer trips. The market also shows 31.5% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile options to consider.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

At the same time, owner feedback points to reliability concerns, including suspension and electrical issues, along with some reports of piston and cylinder problems. That means you should treat a used example as a vehicle where condition and maintenance history matter a lot, because long-term ownership risk can be higher than the satisfaction score alone suggests.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 143 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,262 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $21,782 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,211 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing trend means you may need to be more competitive on asking price to stand out. The good news is that the GLC’s premium image, comfort, and practical cabin still give it broad appeal in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better pick if you want a well-liked, well-equipped compact luxury SUV and you can shop carefully for condition and price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may offer a lower entry point, but the 2017 stands out as the more compelling balance of value and owner satisfaction.
