Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mitsubishi RVR?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have room to shop patiently without waiting too long for the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,826 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mitsubishi RVR's resale value?

The current average of $12,100 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,112 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means future resale expectations should stay grounded. If you plan to sell later, the current market suggests you may not recover as much as a buyer paid a year ago. For you, that makes purchase price discipline especially important.

Should I buy a 2017 Mitsubishi RVR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.72% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better pick if you want a lower entry price and a decent chance of finding a deal in the current market. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you similar value with a different inventory mix.
