Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mitsubishi RVR?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,196 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mitsubishi RVR's resale value?

The current average of $10,213 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,199 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy at a strong value today, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. A lower entry price can help support resale appeal when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mitsubishi RVR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better pick if you want a used RVR with a softer price environment and a decent pool of deal-priced listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep comparing nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
