Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a strong choice if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with broad appeal, strong owner satisfaction, and a market that is currently more favourable than it was a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a similar GLE can be found for less, but the 2017 remains a sensible primary target for shoppers who value comfort and premium features.
