Used 2017 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2017 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have softened 5.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 210 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2017 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a 4.83/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its sporty feel, responsive acceleration, and fuel efficiency, while also highlighting its stylish interior and user-friendly technology. That lines up well if you want a compact car that feels more engaging than many mainstream rivals and still works as an everyday hatchback or sedan. With 31.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2017 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers find dependable, with praise for its trouble-free day-to-day use and the kind of long-term ownership experience people can count on. That said, used-car reliability always depends on maintenance history, so you should still look closely at service records and overall condition before buying. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is ending up with a neglected example rather than a fundamentally weak model.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mazda MAZDA3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 210 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,540 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $13,540 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,283 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also suggests future sellers may need to stay realistic when it comes time to trade in or list the car privately. A model that has already moved down in price can be easier to buy at a fair number, but it may also mean resale gains are limited if market conditions stay similar. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2017 is the year to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2017’s stronger satisfaction signal and current deal availability.
