Is the 2017 Hyundai Accent reliable?

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce the risk of unpleasant surprises, though you should still budget for normal wear items and inspect any high-mileage example carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Hyundai Accent?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 98 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.76% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,602 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Hyundai Accent's resale value?

The current average of $9,985 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,065 CAD.

That suggests the market has eased, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you may be better positioned to protect your value later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Hyundai Accent or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of price, inventory, and owner approval, the 2017 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the lowest sticker price alone.
