If you plan to keep the car for a few years, the current entry price gives you some cushion against depreciation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Hyundai Accent or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a sensible choice if you want a used Accent with solid owner approval and a softer price than a year ago. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and deal quality.
