How much does the 2016 Hyundai Accent cost?

There are 102 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Hyundai Accent a good car?

Is the 2016 Hyundai Accent reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around long-term ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and condition carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Hyundai Accent?

This looks like a buyer’s market, with softer pricing and a meaningful share of listings already tagged as good or great deals.

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 102 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $7,951 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Hyundai Accent's resale value?

The current average of $8,619 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,773 CAD.

That tells you the market has moved down, which can be a headwind if you're planning to sell soon. If you buy at a competitive price now, you may have less room for depreciation pressure later. The current pricing also suggests future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Hyundai Accent or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2016 is the better primary choice if you want a used Accent with favourable pricing and a strong owner satisfaction signal. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and lowest asking price rather than choosing by year alone.
