There are 117 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Ford Fusion a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Ford Fusion earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its smooth ride, comfort, and solid performance, and many also like the variety of features it offers at a good price. That fits well with its role as a midsize sedan that aims to give you good driving dynamics, plenty of room, and a long list of available features. With 30.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2017 Ford Fusion reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in everyday use, with many drivers describing it as smooth and trouble-free enough to live with over the long term. The main caution for used buyers is that ownership risk can rise if you choose a neglected example, so a careful inspection and service-history check matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Ford Fusion?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,567 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Ford Fusion's resale value?

The current average of $11,619 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,555 CAD.

That kind of decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but less favourable if you are thinking about future resale. If you purchase at the current average, your room for appreciation is limited unless market conditions improve. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help reduce the amount of value you stand to lose over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford Fusion or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better pick if you want the refreshed tech and a strong owner-satisfaction profile at a lower used price. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2017 offers a compelling balance of value and features.
