That price movement suggests the model has softened, which can make it easier for future buyers to find value but may also limit upside for sellers. Should I buy a 2017 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used SUV with a lower current asking price and decent deal availability, the 2017 is worth considering. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a better-equipped or similarly priced alternative gives you more value for your budget.
