There are 78 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 4.56/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners consistently praise its powerful V8 engine, stylish design, spacious interior, smooth ride, and the range of features it can offer. For you, that makes it a compelling fit if you want a three-row SUV with family-friendly space and a more muscular personality than the usual midsize alternative. With 23.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.56/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to its strong powertrain and overall ownership experience. The same reviews also suggest it can be a trouble-free choice for buyers who value a long-term, satisfying SUV with plenty of capability. That said, used buyers should still budget time for a careful inspection, since any older SUV can carry maintenance risk over the long term.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 23.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 78 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• If you find a listing below $19,226 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $19,539 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,606 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Durango easier to buy now but may also mean future resale gains are limited unless demand strengthens. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing trend is a reminder that this model year is being valued more for current utility than for rapid appreciation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.56/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 23.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.56/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a three-row SUV with strong owner approval, a distinctive character, and a market that still offers some deal potential, the 2017 is the one to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 remains the better pick when you want the strongest mix of satisfaction and current pricing.
