How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 87 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — 4.73/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Owners commonly praise its reliability, performance, and value, and many also like its smooth ride, safety features, and versatility as a work truck. That lines up well if you want a midsize pickup that balances utility with everyday usability, especially if you value a truck that can work hard without feeling oversized. With 37.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliability, dependability, and a truck that many drivers feel comfortable counting on over time. At the same time, some shoppers should pay close attention to maintenance history, especially if the truck has seen hard use or has the diesel option. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any transmission or drivetrain concerns have been addressed before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,695 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $21,869 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,974 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Stronger-condition examples and well-equipped trims should hold buyer interest better than rougher trucks or those with unresolved mechanical concerns.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Colorado makes sense if you want a midsize pickup with strong owner approval, a softer price than a year ago, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained truck rather than the newest badge alone.
