This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 64 listings available.

The current average of $28,632 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,954 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Camaro has softened enough to create a more approachable entry point for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later, especially if the car is clean and well maintained. The current market also shows enough demand to keep the model visible to shoppers, which helps support future resale.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.50% compared with last year.
