This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

What is the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $31,739 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,939 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively if the market stays similar. The current trend suggests the Camaro is not in a rising-price phase, so resale gains are less likely to come from market movement alone. Instead, condition, mileage, and trim appeal will matter more when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.38/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 26.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.38/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the sixth-generation Camaro’s lighter, more refined feel and you value strong owner satisfaction, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
