How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

There are 75 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, style, high-quality fit and finish, and smooth handling, while also noting that it feels well equipped for an older model. For you, that means it suits shoppers who want a premium, family-focused SUV with a practical shape and a broad feature set. With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also describes it as reliable, dependable, and a safe choice, with a reputation for being trouble-free enough to inspire confidence over time. That said, some drivers mention confusing gadgets, and the air suspension on some models can be troublesome and expensive to repair. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure any higher-cost systems have been properly maintained before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 75 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,595 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $27,053 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,817 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can make the vehicle more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also mean future sellers need to price carefully. If you own one, the softer trend indicates resale values are not climbing aggressively right now, so condition and maintenance history matter more when it comes time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2016 if you want the original year of this GLE generation with strong owner approval, a premium feel, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2016 remains a sensible choice when you find a well-priced example with a solid maintenance record.
