How much does the 2016 Porsche Macan cost?

There are 115 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Porsche Macan earns a 5/5 user rating, and it is aimed at you if you want a premium compact SUV that feels more focused on driving enjoyment than most rivals. It blends Porsche-style performance with compact SUV practicality, offers all-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission, and keeps a high-quality interior with generous standard equipment. Its coupe-like shape gives it a sleek look, though that comes at the expense of interior space. The market also shows 25.2% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a good reliability record, and the 2016 model year keeps the earlier formula that helped define the Macan’s reputation. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium performance SUV can be more costly to maintain if you want to preserve its driving feel and high-quality condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 115 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,853 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $21,253 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,232 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Macan more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. Even so, the model’s premium badge and driver-focused character help support demand among shoppers who want a compact SUV with a sportier feel. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the Macan’s core appeal — a premium compact SUV with strong road manners, a high-quality interior, and a more engaging personality than many rivals — the 2016 is a solid year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby model years to see whether a similar example offers a better entry price, but the 2016 remains a compelling choice when you value driving enjoyment first.
