Used 2016 Mazda CX-3 for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2016 Mazda CX-3 cost?

Prices have softened 8.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 69 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2016 Mazda CX-3 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2016 Mazda CX-3 stands out as Mazda’s small crossover with a distinctly sporty, premium-leaning character, and it suits you well if you want a small vehicle that feels more polished than many rivals. It also brings a strong mix of standard technology and available comfort features, while its limitations are clear if you need maximum practicality. With 37.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market availability if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Mazda CX-3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 Mazda CX-3’s appeal comes from its premium-feeling cabin, strong safety and driver-assistance roster, and the sense that Mazda packed a lot of equipment into the early Canadian lineup. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its cramped rear seats and limited cargo space may become frustrating if your needs grow beyond city commuting or light family duty.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mazda CX-3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 69 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,077 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mazda CX-3's resale value?

The current average of $13,446 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,732 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, the gap between today’s average and the year-ago figure suggests there is still room for the market to stabilise over time. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mazda CX-3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the CX-3’s sporty, premium-leaning feel and a well-equipped small crossover at a softer price point, the 2016 is a sensible primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also compare nearby years for the best combination of price and available inventory, but the 2016 already looks attractive for shoppers who value style and equipment over maximum practicality.
