Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Honda Civic Coupe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 80 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.52% compared with last year.

What is the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe's resale value?

The current average of $15,796 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,372 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be more gradual unless market demand strengthens. If you plan to sell later, buying at the lower end of the range can help protect your position. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Honda Civic Coupe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Civic Coupe with solid owner approval and a market that has eased a bit, the 2016 is a sensible primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, keep an eye on lower-priced listings and compare them carefully against this year’s range before deciding.
