The current average of $14,044 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,295 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure later. The current spread between the year-round low and high also shows there is room for value to move depending on mileage, condition, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better pick if you want a well-liked, value-conscious version of the Enclave with strong owner satisfaction and a favourable price trend. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2016’s stronger market position and owner feedback.
