Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options and some room to negotiate.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 114 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,692 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $13,207 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,959 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more favourable point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value better than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner approval, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2016's current market position.
