Is the 2016 Audi A4 reliable?

For used buyers, that points to a model year that may be easier to live with over time, though you should still check maintenance history and condition carefully before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and compare listings rather than rushing into the first one you see.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 122 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,639 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $12,639 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,851 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold its value better than a neglected one. Strong condition and documented maintenance will matter more when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest mix of current pricing pressure and owner satisfaction, the 2016 is a sensible year to target. You should focus on well-priced examples with clean history and good maintenance records. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2016's current market position.
