Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 104 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,685 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $12,859 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,737 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means a future resale may need to compete in a market where buyers have more leverage. If you plan to sell later, condition, mileage, and service records will matter more because the market is already pricing this model year below where it was a year ago. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a used Audi A4 with solid owner satisfaction and a softer price than it had a year ago. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples rather than the newest one available.
