Is the 2014 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Audi A4 earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride and handling, luxury features, and performance, and many describe it as a great value with a comfortable, spirited driving feel. The 24.1% share of good and great deals suggests there are still worthwhile listings to find.

Is the 2014 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many people find dependable enough to enjoy over time, especially when it comes to comfort and everyday drivability. At the same time, some reviewers mention cold-start CVT concerns, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the transmission behaves on a test drive. For used buyers, that means the long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but a careful inspection matters.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 58 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.63% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,102 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $10,809 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,830 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited unless the market tightens. If you plan to sell later, a lower entry price can help protect you from taking too much depreciation upfront. Well-kept examples should still appeal to shoppers looking for a premium compact sedan with strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Audi A4 with strong owner approval and a softer price point, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, focus on the best-deal listings first and compare them closely against nearby model years to make sure you're getting the strongest value for your budget.
